Spring Break Horse Camp
Spring Break Horse Camp
March 26th - 29th
Tuesday - Thursday
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Ages 7 & up
We are excited to have you join us for our 3-Day Spring Break camp!
Campers will learn the ins and outs of horse care, which will include everything from the anatomy of the horse to the nutritional needs of our horses! They will also learn the importance of keeping a horse farm organized, and how to take care of it to make sure the horses are happy and healthy by learning how to clean stalls, sweep, and have hands on experience with overall farm care duties. They will make horse treats to give to the horses.
Campers will play interactive games with each other and the horses. This may include musical stalls and obstacle courses.
We will incorporate team building activities so the campers can get to know each other throughout the camp to help them overcome challenges and meet a common goal for each activity that they are a part of.
Campers will bake cookies and make crafts.
They will have an opportunity to ride a horse each day of camp!
No previous riding experience necessary!
Bring a sack lunch and eat with your favorite horse!
All participants must come prepared with proper attire to ensure that they are comfortable and safe around the horses. This will include long pants and closedtoed shoes with a heel. Please dress to be prepared to be inside and outside weather permitting. Helmets will be provided if the participant does not own one.
Please wait in the front office where your instructor will come and greet you.
All new participants must sign a waiver (updated yearly) before the class begins. The Legacy Ranch Waiver
Online registration will close on Monday, March 25th at 9:00 am. If you are interested in registering after that time, please contact the office at info@thelegacyranch.org to see if we still have openings.
Refunds will not be issued for participant cancellations requested less than 1 week before the camp start date. Cancellations requested on or before March 19th at 9:00 am can opt to apply the registration fee to another class date or receive a refund (a processing fee will be deducted from the refund.)
A minimum of 5 participants is needed to run each class. We will contact you if we need to reschedule or cancel a class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel the class, you will have the option to apply the registration fee to the rescheduled date (if applicable) or another class or camp date or receive a refund.
